First Problem
Well I've bought the laptop. Against the advice from my colleague, I still chose Compaq Presario V3010AU. Bought it at Notebook Studio(beside Vaio Shop) at Low Yat plaza. Upgrade the RAM to 1GB DDR2 (2x512MB tho). Well for RM3178.00 I do get 1GB thumbdrive, an optical mouse and a headset. Kinda ok la. Oh yes, the laptop comes with burner as well.
Anyway I've tried to installed freebsd 6.1 release amd64 version and this is whut I got... Dem, it failed to detect my HDD. Prob with my ATA serial controller. Hahaha. As mine is NForce 430/410 serial ATA controller. I do remember downloading drivers from nVidia website. Hmmm.. have to check later. Minor prob maaa.. heheheheh
